Can You Write About Food?
Coastal Review Online is currently looking for a contributing food writer who can write knowledgeably and with verve about the culinary traditions of the N.C. coast. We’re not interested in a writer who simply regurgitates recipes. We, instead, want someone who can weave those recipes into a compelling narrative about the importance of food in coastal culture. See our Food Section for examples.
This is not a staff position. The writer will become a contributor, who will be under contract to write at least one story a month. Payment is negotiable.
If interested, send at least four clips of published work to Editor Frank Tursi at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will consider unpublished writers, who can send examples of their work to Frank.
