WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH — Grab a cold one for the coast during the North Carolina Coastal Federation’s first Low Country Boil & Brew at the new Wrightsville Beach Brewery 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24.
A fundraiser for the federation’s Wrightsville Beach office, the brewery is the lead sponsor for the event and is opening up its new, outdoor space under the oak trees for the day of family fun, fresh local seafood and craft brews.
A duo from The Midatlantic will be providing live music. Their sound blends “progressive folk, Americana and bluegrass with a hint of rock and jazz.”
This is an opportunity to see an operating brewery and to support the federation in its mission for clean coastal waters.
Tickets are $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers and include entry, the low country boil buffet and live music.
In the event of rain, the Low Country Boil & Brew will take place the Sunday, Oct. 1.
Carolina Paddle Board Co. has donated a paddleboard, which will be raffled off at the event. Purchase raffle tickets for $5 each or five for $20. Proceeds will benefit the federation’s clean water projects
