Kill Devil Hills Trash Attack! is a community cleanup event 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 21, and poster contest.
Volunteers will meet and register at the lot beside the Kill Devil Hills Fire Station, 1634 North Croatan Highway. Once registered, volunteers select what area of Kill Devil Hills they want to help clean up. The town will provide disposable gloves and garbage bags.
The Earth Day themed poster contest is open to all kindergarten through 12th-grade Dare County students. There are cash prizes for the winners.
For more information on the Trash Attack! community cleanup event and to register or its poster contest and rules, visit the town website or call Town Hall at 252-449-5300.
