RALEIGH – Petroleum underground storage tank rules, air quality rules readoption and water quality permitting rules are to be discussed when the state Environmental Management Commission meets next week.
To be held at the Archdale Building in downtown Raleigh, commission committees are to gather at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, with the full commission meeting set for Thursday, March 14.
Meetings are open to the public or can be viewed online. Passcode is 1234 for both access the WebEx link for the March 13 committee meetings and the WebEx access for the March 14 Environmental Management Commission meeting.
The Environmental Management Commission adopts rules for the protection, preservation and enhancement of the state’s air, land and water resources, oversees some divisions of the Department of Environmental Quality, including the divisions of Air Quality; Energy, Mineral and Land Resources; Waste Management and Water Resources, according to the release.
