In this video produced by the Outer Banks Hospital, Chief of Staff Dr. Dan Dwyer emphasizes the importance of social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19, commends Dare County officials for the recently enacted “Stay Home – Stay Healthy” declaration and encourages social media civility.
The Dare County stay home declaration went into effect at 5 p.m. Saturday to further minimize opportunities for exposure and transmission of COVID-19 in the county.
Dare County’s declaration was updated to align with Gov. Roy Cooper’s Executive Order 121, which directs residents statewide to stay at home and goes into effect at 5 p.m. Monday.
