Carteret County Reopens Its Beach Accesses

Carteret County-maintained beach access points, which are in Salter Path, Radio Island and Harkers Island, reopened Monday to the public, the county government announced.

Officials in the announcement also offered to those using the beach a reminder to practice social distancing and avoid mass gatherings to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Also, residents should review rip current risk and surf advisories prior to visiting the beach.
