Action will be taken during the North Topsail Beach Board of Aldermen special meeting Wednesday that will also have a closed session to address a human resources matter.
The meeting is set for 9:30 a.m. at the town’s North-End Fire Station at 2049 New River Inlet Road.
The public may attend and participate in the public hearing for fiscal year 2020-21 proposed budget. Also during the meeting, the revised version of the shoreline protection manager job description will be discussed and there will be and a continued hearing from the June 4 meeting for a special use permit to establish a parking lot at 4021 Island Drive.
The closed session is to consider the qualifications, competence, performance, character, fitness, conditions of appointment, or conditions of initial employment of an individual public officer or employee or prospective public officer or employee; or to hear or investigate a complaint, charge, or grievance by or against an individual public officer or employee.
