Two virtual community update meeting sessions about the Kerr-McGee Chemical Corp. Navassa Superfund Site are scheduled for Dec. 15.
The Environmental Protection Agency, state Department of Environmental Quality and the Multistate Environmental Response Trust are hosting the virtual meeting sessions to update the public on the progress of remediation plans and field activities at the site.
Sessions will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 15. Each session will begin with a 30-minute presentation followed by a question-and-answer period.
The public can join by phone or online.
