Hear how the state can build a stronger, cleaner economy during a two-part virtual series on “Clean Energy Potential for Growing NC’s Economy.”
Part 1 is at 11 a.m. Friday followed by part 2 at 11 a.m. Monday. Attendees must register for each session.
Both dates will feature North Carolina legislators and chambers of commerce who will discuss opportunities in their regions for economic growth with clean energy development as well as the opportunity for energy market reform in the state.
Part 1 will feature Rep. John Szoka, R-Cumberland, and Sen. Bob Steinburg, R-Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Hertford, Hyde, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Tyrrell, Washington. Register online for Friday.
Part 2 will feature Sen. Vickie Sawyer, R-Iredell, Yadkin, Rep. Larry Strickland, R-Johnston, Harnett, and Rep. Bobby Hanig, R-Currituck, Dare, Hyde, Pamlico. Register online for the Monday session. Register online to participate in the Monday session.
Outer Banks, Currituck, Elizabeth City, Mooresville-South Iredell County, Clayton and Greater Fayetteville Chambers of Commerce are co-hosting the event.
